It's hard to define myself. And because it's always easier to be described by our friends, this is what my best friend Ségolène wrote about me:

Marjolaine is a wonderful person, interested in many topics, always smiley to kind people ! She's organized, polite and helpful with everybody, very funny and a bit crazy when she gets to know people. Someone you can count on. But she loves cats too much, that's insane.

(I think my love for cats is as huge as my love for dogs. So if you have hairy pets, I'ld be happy to meet them!)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've used couchsurfing many times, not always with my own account. Thanks to nice hosts, I've been able to go through Europe and Quebec, Ontario, Michigan and Illinois.

Now I plan to visit Norway with train, and I'm looking for people to host my friend and I during our trip. And also, I love meeting locals when I travel. I discover places in a different way when I am with hosts from couchsurfing... I've always loved it!

Interessen

I like hiking sooo much! I also like programming and multimedia stuff, because I used to be a programmer... But what I prefer is discussing with people about everything: society, movies, music, engagement topics, weather (why not?!), hobbies... Oh, and I watch a lot of series.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I don't know which one I'ld like to write...
Let's say that when I was 18 and my best friend was 17, we get on journey through the Europ, visiting Basel, Europa Park, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Malmo and Berlin. It was hugh step for us to be that independant and to travel on our own!
