My name is Marjolein, 29 years old. I'm born in the south of Holland, called Sealand. In june 2018 I sold my house and quit my job to travel the world, after I get inspired by beautiful people surfing my couch in Antwerp. Thank you for this inspiration guys!!

I'm a healthy, happy and sporty girl, who loves life and people :) I love to be into nature to camp, hike, climb mountains, ski, mountainbike, etc... Love the sea and beaches...Love to visit cities...Love to dance....Love to ride my horse...Love to run...Love to read good books and listen to good music...Love to have good conversations...Love to cook and eat good food and drink good wines and beers...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all because I am a traveller myself. I'm a very social person and I like to meet new people from all over the world and get inspired. I'm very interested in other cultures.

I want to welcome everyone in my house and share the things I have, and I hope to find people who do the same for me while I'm travelling.

At the moment I'm travelling the world. I hope to meet a lot of awesome people while couchsurfing so we can inspire each other and share experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to music! My favorite music depends on my mood of that moment ;)

I love to read books as well, mostly literairy/psychological thrillers, sometimes fantasy, (auto)biographies , science and poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 300 kms on my own through Patagonia. Most intense experience of my life.

With hosts and guests I can share my stories, my skills and my mood of the day :) I would really like to cook for you!

I realllllly love food and cooking so I really like to share cooking skills and recipes from our different countries.

At the moment I don't have a house to share because I sold it to travel the world. When I decide to settle down somewhere everybody is welcome to surf my couch again :)
