About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Becoming a better chef

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in other cultures and countries. I love cooking, eating and dancing. I don't have facebook. Not because I don't know how to create a profile but I think it's not interesting to tell what I'm doing.
I like to take care of people, so I will do my best to make you feel at home.
I love hosting people, but I'm not just a couch. For me couchsurfing is about meeting people, share stories, learn things from each other and having a good time together. I really don't appreciate impersonal, copy-paste requests. Make sure you've read my profile.

PHILOSOPHY

One of the most important things I learned is that you can't carry someone else's burden. Because if you take over, the other person can't solve it.
The other thing is: you can always make a choice. No matter what happens, it's up to you how to deal with it.

Get out of your comfort zone, and smiling is for free :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host couch surfers and I surfed some couches as well :-) I visit the weekly meeting quite regularly. It's a good way to meet some new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting people about a year ago. I had only good experiences! I met a lot of interesting people and because of them I had a great summer :-)
My experiences as a surfer were also very good.

Driving on the Great Ocean Road was amazing!

Listening to Carmina Burana in the antique theatre of Taormina.

Having dinner in a Michelin star restaurant

Travelling on my own through Laos

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, so if you want to learn (or just have a nice dinner): you're welcome! But I'm also very curious about new dishes.
I will share food anyway :) And I like to show that Rotterdam is best discovered by bike. I arrange one for you so we can cycle through Rotterdam together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you or teach you how to cook or bake. I can also bring typical dutch things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam
