ABOUT ME

My name is Marco Feenstra, originally grew up in the North of the Netherlands (Friesland).
Nowadays I am living in the centre of Amsterdam. Since one year I have a girlfriend (Caroline). She works as a dentist in a little village nearby Amsterdam. I worked as an Information Manager at one of the biggest advertising agencies in the Netherlands. Now I work for the biggest newspaper of the Netherlands.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not somebody who lives to work, but works to live free, with friends and family!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurf experience was a weekend in Antwerp, december 2006. Very interesting to meet other people, to discover the city with a local and also to be guest at someone's home! Thanks again Sonja!!!

Interests

My interests are sports (tennis, skating, fitness, ice-skating, swimming), cooking and travelling (islands).

A lot of travel books! I love it!
World music, own made music (for instance, in a television commercial)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waterskiing, to be catapulted into the water :)
Travelled to Paris (from Amsterdam) in one day with the TGV. I spend more time in the train then I enjoyed Paris (unfortunately)
