Let's start with the basics; I'm a 24-year-old tourism student, currently exploring Asia and Australia! I would describe myself as outgoing, fun loving and occasionally I make people laugh. I'm a cat lover, with no cats, but I do have a friend called Cat - so I'm good for a while... Right? Also sarcastic people make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As 99% of people here, I want to meet new people. For a student Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to save some money and at the same time you gain priceless memories/experiences! (Such a cheesy comment, I know..)

Interests

This may come as a shock, but as a tourism student, traveling is a huge passion for me. I'm constantly planning my "next trip" and hoping to win the lottery so I can make a trip around the world. Big dreams considering I never actually take part in the lottery...
Also friends are a big part of my life. I love acting weird with them and coming up with great ideas (usually wine has a small part in this) to carry out.

Music, Movies, and Books

With music almost anything goes, basically it all comes down to my mood swings.. Books I absolutely love but never seem to have the energy to actually finish them. Therefore I have loads of non-finished books waiting for me on the shelf (oh well). Latest book I started was the classic Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy - let's see how far I'll get! With movies I'm fine with everything else EXCEPT horror films, unless I of course want to sleep with the lights on after that..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job and left to Australia with my friend. Best decision in my life so far. Too bad my trip only lasted for 2,5 months but Aus definitely stole my heart (and all of my savings). Maybe some day I get to go back - fingers crossed!
