Overview
About Me
I am a post-graduate research assistant working in Neuroscience Iab
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet some really amazing people, experience new things, and learn about myself in the process.
Interests
Travel (obviously), hiking, skiing, and other sports. In college, I am the president of the club fencing. I also love to play chess, board games and cars games (especially Durak, a famous Russian card game). I also love logic puzzles.
Travelling across Europe, my favorite part is seeing the vibrancy of the city, through its architecture, its food, and, well of course, its people. I also love to take pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love some classical music, particularly Chopin, Jazz, top 100 pop songs, and klezmer (don't worry if you don't know what klezmer is!).
I read mostly nonfiction, mostly about history, particularly 20th century. I also really like Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely.
Some of my favorite movies include:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Forrest Gump, The Pianist, This is England, The King's Speech, Boyhood
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my family history in the Soviet Union and my Jewish roots. I can teach you about Judaism, about the American education system. I like talking about history, science and math, and politics.
I would love to learn about local dishes, local customs and traditions, and about beautiful (non-touristy) spots to visit.
