Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A hotel or a rented flat doesn't give as much cultural perspective as a shared apartment with a local — I believe meeting the people can expand your horizons just as much as the journey itself. I also think it's a great way to meet new people and make friends around the globe (sorry, flat Earth believers).
