About Me

My Name is Mark, I love to play the blues, and sample all the good things in life. I have seen a fair amount of the world . The best part of traveling is meeting people and sharing ideas and cultures other than your own. The thing I have seen to have the most intrigue is the discovery that although you might have grew up on the other side of the world, people are not that different. Only when when we extend our hand in a gesture of goodwill do we have true understanding. I'm going to do my best to break down the barriers of hate, and prejudice in a world that is in dire need of the spreading of love and compassion . Only love can conquer hate, I'm Christian who believes that God died for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just kinda of found out about this, and thought is would be so cool, just so cool, Motels, and resorts are fine, but I would much rather form lasting friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play the blues, and always travel with my harmonicas, you never know when you will meet another musician. What do you call four musicians ....... a mighty fine band. Music I know is a gift from God, it is in the fabric of my soul. I use music to encourage others and spread the love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't like to toot my own horn. I find it much more interesting know what amazing things someone else has done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everyone has a story and something to bring to the banquet of life. I find good people to be our greatest asset in life.. I think good people are what holds society together. I know the world can be a very harsh place. I have seen the realities of it. I have also met some of the best people in the world, the purest souls, truly beautiful people, that inspire, and have taught invaluable lessons on my journey to become a better human being.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What can I share with a host...............Boy talk about a loaded question .......Uhmmmmm that is a tough question to answer in such a limited format. I can share my time, my money, my talent, I'm a good carpenter, an amazing cook. I love to explore new things and will share with all willing to to take part in my adventure. I'm hippy who still believes you always give more than than you take, use good manner, and respect people. The things I leaned from childhood still ring true, May I will always trump I'm going too, please and thank you are standards in my vocabulary. Last I would like to say getting to know people is one of the truly best blessing in this life.
