About Me
Hey there!
I´m Mark Diederen from the Netherlands. I´m an Earth science student from Utrecht but I´ve spend last year mainly in Australia on a working holiday visa studying, working and traveling :) I’ve studied for around half a year at RMIT in Melbourne and the other months I’ve travelled and worked on farms and in construction! Now I will travel through SE Asia for the next months before I return to the Netherlands to do my master :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The next thing I’m gonna do is travel through SE Asia. I think the best way to make the most out of my experience in a foreign country is by getting in contact with locals. And what better way is there than couchsurfing or volunteering?!
Interests
I have played field hockey for 13 years in the Netherlands
I play a bit of piano, saxophone and guitar. I would like to become better at guitar during travels
I hitchhiked quiet a bit in Europe and in Australia so I dig that stuff
Never been a big reader but I try to read more, do read the newspaper tho
I'm interested in sustainability which is a bit related to my study so I try to get some knowledge in that stuff also. Probably I want to get a job related to it.
