About Me

I love to experience new places, and I love to meet new people. I'm very adventurous, and I like to take up a challenge. I'm a vegetarian, and I'm very interested in nature and culture.

If i had enough money to travel luxuriously, I'm sure that i would choose to travel as a backpacker anyway, because you don't interact with people, and you won't experience a country/city unless you choose accommodations where you're "forced" to interact with people from the country/city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just discovered Couchsurfing and I'm already in love with the concept. As I said, I think the best way to experience a country/city is to interact with the people who actually lives there on a daily basis. You will never get as much out of a country, as you do with the guidance and/or advice of a person who uses there everyday in the place you're visiting.

Interests

I love reading, playing/making/listening to music, travelling and experience new things. I like to hang out with all kinds of people, and hearing different peoples stories. I'm very interested in the universe, and I'm about to start studying astronomy physics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music! From the blackest metal to the lightest pop. From folk to disco. From classic rock to clubbangers, i like it all. My favorite band though is Pink Floyd.

My favorit movies is everything with Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick or David Lynch as a writer.

My favorite books are "Dharma Bums" and "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac and "Roughing it" by Mark Twain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did voluntary work at a monastery for tibetan monks, where I teached english to the young monks, as well as other people in the city who wanted to learn english. I did the voluntary work at a monastery in Northern India in a city called McLeod Ganj. This was truly an amazing experience, to be able to teach the monks and give something back, and to get a everyday picture of the monks life.

I will contribute every host with great company, and i can share some of my travelling/life storries, as well as hearing my host's stories. I will do everything necessary to make my stay more comfortable for my host, and I will try my best not to be in the way.
