Overview
About Me
I'm a simple man with simple interests.
I enjoy playing, listening to and creating music - all music.
I'm a lanky Australian man(boy) who, with my lovely parter (Madeline is her name), is emigrating to Germany. I've lived a good coupla decades in Australia and now want to try something else. In the meantime her and I are travelling southern Europe.
I'm mild-mannered, I spose, and chill.
Vaguely chill.
I'm a vegetarian, an intermittent smoker, courteous, mostly happy, in love, calm, politically outraged and rational. yeah nah sweet
I've done very little travelling, though and so feel naive to this stranger and stranger world and being an anglophone feel perhaps a little out of my depth taking on Europe the way I am. But where is one to go if not outside one's comfort zone?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet people on the road, to make friends and to get involved in where I'm staying. I want to find comfort outside of this comfort zone.
Me and Maddy don't want to be tourists, we mostly just want to enjoy the space we're in.
I want to find that corner coffee shop or that wasted laneway. I want to drip in the place I myself in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Squatted in an abandoned Pub in Melbourne and turned it into a party house for three and a half weeks. There was hot water, internet, food, spices, furniture and all kinds of secrets. Ridiculous times.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Like most I can share good conversation, I can give a good discussion about the difference between good and bad coffee or completely fumble my around most topics but most of all I can bring music.
Conversation about music, sure but I can play guitar and piano forever.
I sing, too, and I'm more than happy to play music and teach music to whoever I encounter.
Countries I’ve Visited
New Zealand, Switzerland
