Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I play with indie punks Free Kittens And Bread based out of Austin TX (we're on Spotify!) and we occasionally need places to crash when we tour! And when I am traveling alone CS is a great way to immerse myself in the city I'm in!

I really enjoy meeting people and getting to step into someone else's world for a bit! Plus I like to say the quickest way to make a new friend is sharing a shelter with them 🏠

I enjoy funky guitar jams, geeking out over music, busting a move on dance floors, salty face washes while nearly drowning during surf wipeouts, and getting lost in residential mazes.

Just finished Mating In Captivity, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Infinite Jest, All Quiet On The Western Front, Fahrenheit 451, Trouble Boys (Replacements Bio) and I'm currently reading Life (Keith Richards bio)

I generally play indie rock music, but I'm really into hip hop, jazz, punk rock, and just about anything with a beat after giving it enough listens. Lately I've been on a Replacements, Anderson Paak, Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Adams kick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed up until 7am making pumpkin bread from a raw pumpkin 🍊 It was sofa king delicious.

I teach a little guitar on the side every now and then. I love geeking out over people's favorite music artists, and I also have plenty of stories from touring.
