About Me

Hi, My name is Mark. I am a German traveller and currently I stay in Taipei. Soon I will travel all around Taiwan. It is a fascinating country with a beautiful nature and amazing people who do everything they can to help a foreigner in any kind of situation. I am very glad that I can be here. I am a passionate hiker, tree planter, herb eater and natural medicine producer.
Therefore, Taiwan is the perfect place for me to have fun. I have been traveling a lot in the past years as you can see in my country list. I have many fun stories to share. Couchsurfing is a taking and giving. I am happy to assist you with any kind of project to express my gratefulness for the stay. I want to meet new people and to take a deep look in other cultures. That is why I am here. See you and have a great day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and share my stories with them. Couchsurfing is a great way to learn from new cultures. Different people have different ideas. We can learn so much from each other.
The best memories I have, are always the memories related people.
Wealth does not make me happy.
Only we can we can make ourself happy by sharing stories, meeting, laughing and hanging out. We together.
That is true happiness...
....and that is the reason why I am on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the classical music of famous videogames.
It is a great inspiration for me.
I adore songs which tell stories about life.
For example: Another day in Paradise from Phil Collins
My passion is it to gather herbs and plants in the forest and produce my own natural medicine. It was once the most important knowledge of our ancestors. It was essential for their survival and the reason for the existence of our contemporary civilization. We should never forget where our roots are. Therefore I enjoy to read herbal books and to learn about our origins.
I know plants who can:
Calm you down, make you able to work twice as hard, make you learn twice as fast, make your sleep way more efficient and reduce it to 6 hours a night, cure chronic deceases quickly and forever, make you feel like a new born baby. That is a pretty amazing knowledge and I want to share it with whoever is interested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled to many countries all around the world in the past years.
I have endless fun and wired stories to tell and amazing experiences to share.
But for now...I am overwhelmed...I don't know where to start. :D
I will tell you about it when we meet. Than it is even funnier.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about european herbs. That is my true passion.
I am happy to tell you more about the fabulous healing power, mother nature has to offer...
...and of course nice travel destinations all arround the world.
I will unveil my secret spots for you.
I speak English and German fluently and I am happy to teach you. =)
My current Mission: I have been learning Mandarin for over one year and practice every day.
Chinese is a interesting language. It sounds to me like music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For me Couchsurfing is a taking and giving.
I am happy to assist you with any kind of project to express my gratefulness
Friends helping friends and we Couchsurfers and Hosts are all friends.
That's my philosophy.
I can share my humbleness with you: Give me a piece of bread, a carrot, a tent and set me out in the forest and I won't stop smiling. :D
I speak English and German fluently and I am happy to teach you some words. =)
I am a Mechatronic Technician by profession and used to work for a crane manufacturing company. So I am good at repairing things.
I want to share that message with you:
Take it easy, eat your cookies and enjoy your day!
