Overview
About Me
I am 23, helpful and proactive, who enjoys learning and assisting others. I have a dry sense of humour, enjoy comedy films and being out in nature absorbing the fresh air and scenery. I listen to pretty much all music and am always searching for the next song for my playlist.
I like to keep myself pretty active, and used to hike frequently through my teenage years. I spent some time in Kenya assisting a church and village orphanage in 2014 and it gave me a new perspective on life amongst some other big life events.
I am told I am a warm and caring logical personality but don't let this put you off. :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have recently been let go from my job in the defence sector (i'm a little protective of what this is, but I am happy discussing it with potential hosts). This change was quite unexpected and I find myself with very little obligation at home. My thoughts have immediately gone to travelling and I have sufficient savings to make this possible.
A friend of mine recommended couchsurfing as a way to meet new and interesting people and take a journey into the lives of the people along my route.
I am planning a long term trip through many locations and it would be awesome to meet and experience local culture from local people.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have little to offer at the moment apart from my own story, I am hoping to build a narrative and skills through the next year.
I am always happy to share my own history, and hope that others can share theirs with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A thorough story of how I came to the position I am in now (it's quite the rocky road)
Help around the home if hosts need it (including cooking)
Photo's from my trip until this point and subsequently after.
A clean and considerate guest experience.
