Overview
About Me
I'm an easy going and adventurous guy. I love to travel, see new places and experience other cultures. I try and connect with local people where I go to gain further insight and understanding into the place/culture/everyday life and deepen the travel experience. I like teaching and working with youth and young adults. I have taught English to students from many different countries which has been great. I have also become a language student myself, learning Spanish recently. Having travelled solo a fair bit I have got out of my comfort zone & met a lot of great people along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and connect with locals. To learn about the local culture, context, everyday life, locations and points of interest.
Interests
I studied photography years ago and still have a passion for it, especially when I travel. I love to cook and try foods from around the world. I'm a sports fan and love Australian football (AFL) in particular, among other sports (cricket, rugby, soccer, tennis). I've played touch football and ultimate frisbee in recent years. I also like music, discovering new artists and going to concerts. I'm a drummer, although I havent been able to have a drumkit for awhile.
