About Me

Hola friends,
I'm Mark, a 26 years old guy from Germany, Dortmund.
I love being outside, experience new stuff and plunge into unknown worlds, which makes hiking, cycling and climbing fit perfectly. I'm a joyful coeval who's relaxing and satisfied very easily and who likes spending effort, time and money on experiences rather than on material goods.
I'm gonna finish my studies soon and just applied for a new job . Therefore, I thought I got make the best out of my currently cozy life. Travelling, getting to know interesting and open-minded people, learn more about myself and others and have a ton of fun doing all of that is what makes my life so enjoyable.

If there is anything else you would like to know about me, don't hesitate to ask.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason for me to be on Couchsurfing is the beautiful and open-minded people I get to know while traveling. Couchsurfing makes it easy to have enjoyable nights, nice chats and insights into foreign cities.

Interests

Well, I'm basically interested in every enriching experience I can get. Learning new skills, getting better in understanding myself and others and explore the world is what drives me. Oh and I just started playing blues harp. The best traveling instrument there is, and the sound... beautiful =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I'm not really into any specific music or movie genre.
What I do like is reading. I prefer books which encourage your thinking and stimulate your consciousness. Also, books about mind and brain shoot me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many many experiences I really liked. Too many to count or write down. One extraordinary, however, was spending 5 Months in Nigeria in a place without running water, electricity or internet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I am not a typical teacher :D but I will do my best to have a great time abroad as well as present foreigners a great time whenever I'm at home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love cooking and am always open learning new ways of preparing a meal.
I can also share my open nature and funny humor to make every stay an amusement.
