Hi!

I'm new to couchsurfing but eager to meet new people and excited to be a host. I'm from NY originally, but more recently was living/working in DC. In October, 2018 I was fortunate enough to receive a DAAD grant to research in Germany. I moved to Rostock, Germany and have been working at the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research ever since. My research looks at the social benefits of coastal water quality improvements.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people. I'm excited to see new cities with the help of local couchsurfing hosts, as well as show Rostock to incoming visitors.
