About Me

I am a seasoned traveler, accustomed to sleeping on floors, in cars, in tents and of course on couches ... wherever it makes the most sense at the time, but I am very new to CS. I am hoping to host or be hosted in the very near future to experience the cultural phenom of CS!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I have no practical CS experience yet, it seems a great way to meet new people in foreign towns. I am very interested in getting, as best I can, unique experiences that are found when someone personally points you in the direction of their perspective from living there. I am a humble traveler; I travel light and am grateful for the experiences of life wherever I go. I hope to meet many more new friends ahead of me, and it seems like CS is a great way to see the diversity that is America, and the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love stories of redemption, where everything turns out okay in the end, like Rain Man and others where the "bad guy" has a heart of gold that just needs to be polished up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Each amazing thing that has come to mind while thinking about how to answer this question has left me feeling like I shouldn't post it here, like its too personal to simply post like this. But, ask me, and I will tell you ... and I hope to hear your amazing stories too ...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a little, but I hope to learn a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy learning others points of view and sharing my thoughts as well. I appreciate being a visitor to the world. Whenever I meet someone, I focus on them; I'd like to hear your story- what are your passions, what do you feel called by God to be or to do, have you spoken with God and has he given you any information I might be surprised to learn? Where are you on your journey, or have you arrived and are you comfortable now?

My main interests are transubstantiation, using my ears, eyes, hands and feet to experience life in a unique way ... I am interested in religious diversity, global economics, politics and family traditions. I love cooking quick meals, camping out, going to movies, attending presentations and lectures and learning a few new dance steps here and there intermittently.
