About Me

Hello there I'm Mark. I have spent the last few years running an organic small holding and eco education that I started here in Ireland as well as practicing shamanism. I hope to write a book about my experiences within the shamanic framework as I travel.

Beyond my work I am naturally energised by people and good conversation. I am very open and find it easy to engage with others. I enjoy meeting new people, travel, growing crops especially perennial rare vegetables, making teas from herbs, rewilding, Irish history, history and geography in general, animal care, rehoming battery hens, restoration of animal habitats, trees, light meditation, cycling, hiking, exploring, Cacao, dance music, clubbing, being out and about, introversion, meaningful conversation, films, Nintendo and 90s PC games, talking about current affairs and politics and trying new things. I enjoy conversations about Sociology and Psychology.

Socially Im a chameleon so I can pass myself with nearly anyone. My friends would describe me as having a calming presence which puts others at ease. I have a wild spirit but at heart I’m a typical Irish countryside lad who enjoys conversation, listening and living in a laid back manner. I am a natural giver and spender of energy on others which is a deeply ingrained trait of many rural Irish. I am very attentive to the needs of others but not attentive to detail.

I am a small holder farmer and Celtic shamanic practitioner. I help people to connect with nature and the land through our ancient, indigenous Celtic ritual and spiritual practices.
I've had many (spiritual) and wellness experiences ... everything from past life regressions, Cacao to private training with a Mongolian shaman. I'm open minded about spirituality and how it can help us to find ways to cope with the challenges we face individually and collectively.

At this point (autumn 2023) I’m looking to reacquaint myself with the world and being a part of it a little more. Hoping to discover my humanity and things I haven’t had time for in the past few years.

I have lots of different facets to me and ‘levels’ so I guess we will connect at a place where we both feel the vibes. Perhaps that leads to a deep and meaningful conversation over herbal tea … or a wild exploration of night time city expanses sipping tequila or craft beer. Or maybe the outcome is something totally off the wall or sensibly sensible.
