Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because some places are just wicked expensive to stay at haha. And if you can tone down the costs paired with meeting nice locals and chat a bit about whatever, then hey, all the merrier. People who are open for and welcoming to strangers tend to be of the nicer kind and I find myself sharing their mindset and interests quite often. Besides, some of my fondest traveling memories are the ones I shared with locals, and I wish to keep adding these kind of memories

Interests

Festivals and music in general. Football (don't play it myself any longer). Nature & the outdoors. Experiencing as many cultures as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: psych rock is the biggest. Absolute favorite bands are Spacemen 3, Circle and Endless Boogie. I listen to hardcore, techno, doom metal, noise (rock) and plenty other styles as well. Just not big on pop and hip hop, unless it's of the leftfield type

Movies: haha I watch it all. From B-movie horror to over-the-top Michael Bay explosions galore. From gunfights at the OK Corral to battling among the stars in the Millennium Falcon. Just not much on drama and musicals

Books; not a big reader, max 5 books per year or so. Mostly travel or fantasy related stuff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved an Icelandic lamb from starvation/strangulation when it got its silly ass stuck in a net. True superhero material

What I Can Share with Hosts

15 years of traveling experience. and I like to think I'm pretty expert on packing and planning so there's that. I got plenty of interests though, so I'm sure we'll find our subject matter
