About Me

Currently, me and my partner are doing an interrail trip for two months - we would be so glad to share some time with a few people in Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy....

I love the water, tranquility, indie music and spending time with friends around a campfire. That's exactly what I can sometimes have at Lake Constance, my favorite place to be - and luckily my home right now. I would be very happy to welcome a few travelers here! Because also on my journeys, especially to Iran and India, I was able to enjoy insanely great hosts.

I'm a friendly, interested guy, just at the end of two master's theses. I'm writing these loooong papers about two very moving fieldwork experiences in Iran and the Dead Sea. And then sometime in late 2023, I'll be starting my 'professional' life - don't know if I'm supposed to like that yet. I'm interested in everything that has to do with ball sports, with movement, with reading, with cooking nice vegan dishes and experiencing new forms of attention to our environment.

What about you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Don't want to go into details about the 'emic' perspective and 'going native' as a wanna-be-anthropologist, but lets keep it brief: It's just very much enjoyable to perceive the 'natural environment' ofthe hosts through their eyes, share the local food, some time and co-work, co-exist with one another.
