Hey everyone! My name is Mark, and I just graduated with a degree in biomedical engineering from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. From September 2019 until May 2020 I'll be teaching English in Vendôme at a high school, so I'll be looking to meet French friends. In addition to engineering, I really enjoy reading, being outdoors, music, running, and learning other languages. I'll be in Toulouse from the 15th through the 19th of February and then Lyon from the 24th through the 27th, so if you want to hang out in either of these cities, feel free to send me a message!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard from a friend that it's a great way to meet new people, and in a few years when I have my own apartment I'd like to give back to the couchsurfing community by letting people stay at my place. Right now though I'm here to meet some new friends in France!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Not very impressive, but I booked a flight to Marrakech last minute and had the best five days of my life exploring the city with a Canadian, an Englishman and a German that I met at my hostel.

Pas si impressionant que ça, mais j'ai réservé un vol à Marrakech au dernier moment et j'ai passé 5 merveilleux jours à explorer la ville avec un canadien, un anglais et une allemande que j'avais rencontré à l'auberge où je dormais.

I would love to improve my French while I'm in France for the next many months, but I'm also open to language exchanges where I help someone with their English as well.
