Kathryn and I love travelling together. We love cooking and eating food from all over the world! We hate the cold, we're always chasing the sun!
I myself (Mark) love being outdoors, camping, off-road driving, sitting around a fire with a cold beer and I really love fishing!
Kathryn enjoys the same things (except the beer! lol), maybe not to the same extent as me. If I go away she's quite happy having a quiet weekend and enjoys reading.
We love animals and pets, we both have grown up in rural Australia with everything from horses to kangaroo's between our two families!
We are also non-smokers. I enjoy beer and we both enjoy cider and wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are going to do a road-trip through Europe and would like to get to meet real locals in the places we visit :). Giving up our home and our jobs to travel and have new experiences and meet new people, its scary and exciting at the same time!

This is a hard one...
I myself do not read but Kathryn enjoys reading all different types of books.

We have similar tastes in music, she leans more towards top hits and I like everything from Creedence to Drum & Bass.

Pulp Fiction, District 9, Shrek and How To Train Your Dragon? - I could go on forever! Too many good movies, we both love our Comedy and Adventures, I love Sci-Fi and she sneaks in the odd Chic Flick!

I'm the jack of all trades, master of none. I always try to fix things myself from the house to the car. Not always successfully. There's nothing you can't learn to do from Youtube!
