Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm about to graduate from Michigan State University with two degrees, Environmental Geoscience and Chemistry. I have a deep passion to bring clean water to people in this world that don't have access to it, and I'm excited to see how this next chapter in my life propels me in that direction. I love late nights and early mornings, intelligent conversations, all the food and IPAs, and whiskey (in no particular order).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea that individuals can cross paths for an instant, stories can be shared briefly, that a few people can pour into each other's lives for a moment, then both continue on their path. I open my door and my life to every person where my path crosses. I was told once, if I have more wood, I need to build my table bigger, not my fence higher. My table is big enough for everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: geez, everything from underground indie music to top 40 or country. I'll get down with some Bon Iver, Sigur Ros, Keith Urban, or James Morrison.
Movies: I'm down for anything, but I do jump bad at horror movies. Any movie that make me think are always a plus, or twisted movies (i.e. Requiem of a dream).
Books: I read a lot of non-fiction, Carl Sagan, Rob Bell, Elizabeth Gilbert, really anything that adds value to my life. Also, the Shack, book wrecked me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One of the most comfy couches in the greater Lansing area, mediocre food (but plenty of it), beer & whiskey at will, and stories to share. I want to hear every story you have.
