About Me
How are you doing? My name is Mark, what is yours?
At the moment I'm trying to be full blown adult. Finding out who I am, who I want to be and what I stand for. Meeting people always brings me closer to this goal. I try to experience my environment and the people in it where ever I go.
I love sharing! Meals, moments, views on society, life experiences, honesty, so many things that one can share. So I try to share with as many people as possible.
A bit more concretely I am a master student in Computer Science at the University of Brussels. I enjoy food, discussions, programming, walking, dreaming, music most importantly life in general. Oh by the way, if you have any computer problems there is a big chance i can fix them ;)
Fully vaccinated!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My biggest motivation for trying to become part of the Couchsurfing community is to gain new experiences in life through meeting new open minded people. And I am sure this community is filled with them.
Interests
Since I try keeping my mind open to anything, I enjoy a variety of things. I read up on all sorts of things, causing me to not be a real specialist on anything. But it also means I can participate in most conversations because of it aswell.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate and enjoy almost all sorts of music. From reggae to heavy metal, from folk to rap, from ballads to drum and bass.
I have never been the biggest reader, trying to work on it though, currently reading "21 Lessons for the 21ste Century" by Harari. Will never forget Harry Potter.
I used to watch a lot of movies and series, but have cut down on it lately. Most recently I watched Wilfred.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to a permaculture farm which changed my view on life quite a bit and am now trying to live life according to what feels right, which is in my case: spontaneous.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning. And I am convinced everyone has something to teach. Because life teaches us lessons every day through experiences, and by sharing these life experiences we are also sharing life lessons.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A listening ear, an honest reply, and open sharing.
A small thank you gift, most likely in the form of local food or drinks (Belgium has good beers).
Computer skills, which rely on experience, but also on Google and patience.
Countries I’ve Visited
