I'm a writer, programmer, and teacher trying to see more of the world. I traveled a lot around the US in 2016, and I'm hoping to do some more traveling in other countries, too, sometime soon.

I really like learning about local secrets. When I first moved to Oakland, California, a new friend told me about a place to get great little $5 lunch boxes of really good Indian food in San Francisco, and I remember it as the first local secret I learned living here.
