Hi, my name is Mark and I live in Orlando, Florida, USA. I've only recently started traveling as I worked and went to university well into my twenties. I certainly had a fear of traveling by myself but that is no longer the case after lots of travel earlier this year and now my I'm hooked. I'm not a real party animal, but I do love animals!

This app was a lifesaver while traveling alone for the first time and completely changed the progress of my trip in Thailand. Couchsurfing opened up my world to a whole different way of thinking and has introduced me to some life-long friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has introduced me to many like-minded individuals that I would've never met had I not used the app. I've been using the hangout feature frequently when traveling and only recently started staying with others when away from home as it's making travel more affordable and thus allows more travel. I live near Disney so, if you need a couch when visiting please let me know.
