About Me
Gday! Im Mark, a 24 year old primary school teacher from Sydney Australia. I finished university two years ago and worked full time last year, saved up some cash, left my Job after my class graduated and hit the road with my backpack and my trusty soup strainer (moustache) . I don't really have a plan or a destination, I'm quite laid back and easy going so just seeing where things take me this year! Unfortunately that means I can't host anyone until next year, but next year I will be taking on guests in my spare room!
I love sharing my stories with people, and hearing theirs, especially when I can make them laugh. Having a sense of humor in my opinion is the most important attribute in a person and it can take you basically anywhere! Ill be the first to laugh at myself and when you meet me, first thing you will notice is my stupid looking Dali moustache which is my travel companion for the year, I love him so just keep this in mind before you request to stay with me or a let me stay with you ! He doesn't shed or drop hair so you won't know he is there... until you look at my face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Only heard about couch surfing once I left Australia , think its an awesome idea and a good way to meet local people! I can now say I've made quite a few good mates through couch surfing !

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music ( can't play) but love to listen! I'm quite proud of Australian music and get bloody excited when I hear it being played overseas. Ill happily let you look through my Spotify account and we can discover some Aussie music together!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher by trade so I guess I can teach you some basic primary school mathematics - For example: if you had to share ten lollies equally between yourself and 3 friends, how many lollies would you each receive? If you host me I'll tell you the answer!
I can tell you a lot of useless information about Australia and how basically all of our animals can kill you in some way. I can also offer you some first aid advice for living in the australian outback- for example if you get scratched by a koala you should probably seek help asap as there is a large chance that you now have contracted an STD (chlamydia. seriously look it up) fortunately I have never been scratched by a koala, so I'm quite safe to meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smiling face and a bit of a laugh!
