About Me

I'm outgoing and like to tell and listen to stories, drink beers, read, write, travel,

Also I'm quite spontaneous, which you'll probably notice :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created a profile because i heard of Couchsurfing from a Mexican family whos floor I slept on, because I arrived a day early to USA for university exchange. Afterwards I thought it was an amazing experience and why stop there. So I made a CS profile and went on a two week solo trip in the mid-west og USA on a quest to swim in the largest lake in the states (I thought it was lake Michigan (coldest lake in the world I think) - but after swimming in it, I found out that Lake Superior is actually the greatest). During those two weeks I meet the most amazing people and I've been totally sold to Couchsurfing ever since!

Interests

Having "one more beer" more than once, writing, reading, laugning, trying to learn stuff about wine and whisky, telling stories, listening to stories, traveling, meeting people, getting lost.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books .. I think "For Whom the Bell Tools" is Hemingway's best (Jack Kerouac says it's Green Hills of Africa but i disagree even though I think he was awesome)
Favorite writers are: Hemingway, Kerouac, Bukowski, Hunter s. Thompson, Dostojevski ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cross a 2,5 mile lake in an inflatable chair with a mate every year. it takes about 3,5 hours.
... Update... Done this for 5 years now and we've shifted to another lake that 5 miles long. But we've gotten better so we do it in only 6 hours :)
