Hello All,

My name is Mark, I've lived in Milwaukee my whole life. I've traveled throughout the United States, but I couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home. I grew up on the city's northwest side, and now live just north of downtown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to help people traveling to Milwaukee have a great time. I love exploring Milwaukee, and I'm passionate about supporting local artists and businesses.

I'm also using Couchsurfing to help me meet new people in new cities. It is amazing to stay with someone and learn from them.

Interests

I'm very interested in learning. It's something I've always had to do the hard way, and it has always been rewarding. I enjoy attending concerts and live theater, as well as reading non-fiction books and collecting vinyl records.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is help organize a bi-annual charity event benefiting the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. The event brings local bands together with local music fans to raise money for the food pantry that serves the greater Milwaukee area.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some of Milwaukee's interesting history, as well as some of the new, exciting things happening within the city today. I can also help with cooking and cleaning, and drinking cervesas!
