Overview
About Me
I am a passionate individual who loves to dwell with big ideas and visions. I like to hear about people's passion and philosophy - they make individuals unique and special, and I respect people who pursue their dreams. I do not like to be restrained by convention and standard procedures, and that may be the reason why some may not like me - because I hate to merely follow the majority. Mediocrity is my biggest enemy, and I want to be someone significant. Don't get me wrong. I'm not an arrogant, rebellious or authoritative person. I am just someone who wants to be special and different from the rest.
I'm a slight introvert, clearly because I do not always like to be part of the majority. However, that doesn't imply that I'm not sociable. I am a very friendly person who can share my thoughts and ideas to those I am close to. I would love to share memorable moments with others and develop everlasting relationships.
Dare to be different, dare to be unique. Do pour out your visions and thoughts. Share your imaginations with me, and I guarantee you I will share mine too, and I can be a very good friend to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to use this platform to meet different people, share exciting moments with others and create life-long relationships. Travelling is one of my passion, and I love to mix with people who also share the same passion.
Interests
I love to play the piano and sing in a choir. I have been playing piano for about 10 years now, and have 4 years of choir experience (in high school). I love music so much I took it as a subject during my O-level examinations! While I am a classically trained musician, I love to hear new and exotic music from different countries/tribes/societies. In fact, I hope I can gain greater exposure to different kinds of music when I travel.
I am very passionate about economics, finance, and business. Economic theories fascinate me, and as traditional theories get dis-proven by modern ones, this young social science discipline becomes ever more relevant and exciting. Finance deals with investments and capital markets, and the complexity underlying this science of money management is infinite! (Won't ramble on about specific topics - talk to me about it and I assure you I have loads to share about this) Business studies also interest me as I am inspired by successful entrepreneurs - I have always been keen to understand their stories and circumstances that eventually brought these people to their success.
I love food. We all know why. Period.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've organised a school piano concert together with my other friends when I was studying in junior college, and it was a euphoric experience. To me, it was such a success that I had post-concert blues. Performing in front of a public audience is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me.
