About Me

I'm a Front End Web Developer and work from home. I travel as often as I can and enjoy experiencing new cultures and new people!

I am typically a reserved individual and if there is an initial "silence", please just know I am likely shy and taking my time to get to know you is all. Once I warm up, I can sometimes be quite the chatter box on any number of topics :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to interest and work, I love traveling. I have lived in or visited most of the United States of America. Over the years I have stayed with many of people on their couches (albeit more through friend references than this site).

I am generally a "pay it forward" type of person and love the concept of meeting new people from all walks of life!

Interests

These can honestly vary depending on any number of given circumstances and I am willing to try anything (within reason) at least once. Web development is not only my job, but also a passion. When I'm not working, I love travel, enjoy photography, hike/camp, listen (or sometimes play) music, play [video] games, read, discuss philosophy or even politics.

I am also perfectly content with silence and meditating.

Music, Movies, and Books

My theory is this: if someone put the time energy and effort to produce art in one form or another to express themselves, the least I can do is listen, watch or read it once.

I personally do not like the term "favorite" as this somehow implies "something is better than the other". To subjugate and belittle another person's creative soul due to differences of opinion is cruel in my opinion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked and camped in the Alaskan mountains nude. Being around and in nature fully was the most freeing and amazing feeling I have ever experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always teaching, learning and sharing. This is how we grow, not only as individuals, but as a society and even as a species. I am especially fascinated by the different cultures we have created in different parts of the world and enjoy learning new ways of thinking about life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not entirely sure what this section is intended for, but I am a compassionate person. I do not have very many personal boundaries and am willing to lend a helping hand when times are tough or when things go wrong. We've all been there, I get it.

All I ask is that you be mindful of any work I may have to do. Also, please do not attempt to take advantage of me either, I will see that coming a mile away and I'll just ask you to leave or leave myself if traveling abroad.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
