ABOUT ME

Hi all I am Mark. I am a artist/athlete living in Dublin. I am a very open/friendly/funny guy. I like to go out and enjoy all aspects of life to the fullest, exploring and trying new things as much as staying in reading a book or creating art. Honest and respectful (manners are for free!) I get on with nearly everyone I meet and I love meeting new people. Listening to their stories and experiences. Travelling is a great passion of mine and I try to get out and find somewhere new as much as I can(when I can).

PHILOSOPHY

Balance. I try to find a good balance with all things, living well, seeing friends, personal space, creating art, playing sport, being happy etc. Finding the right balance in all things is really important to me.

Interests

How do I spend my time? Well I try to find a balance between creating new art, through photography, illustration or painting and playing or coaching sport. Be it rugby, mma, soccer or more alternative sports like jugger or ultimate frisbee. I have studied photography, film and fine art and I have a love for all the arts. I love craft beer and good wine, ha and good food for that matter! Reading and going out with friends or having them over. I really do enjoy doing a lot of different things! Ha Travel as well I cant believe I haven't mentioned that yet. I love to travel just as mush to new places as to old. As long as I'm happy I'm happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are far too many to list :) I have a strong passion for music and discovering new music. There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a well crafted film and also nothing worse than watching a badly made one! I love to read also from Tolkien to Hemingway to Aristotle to Alan Moore. Whatever interests me Ill read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finishing a new piece of artwork, pouring all my skill and love into something. Then putting it on show for other people to react to is an amazing and wonderful journey.

Traveling to places that I had only read about and imagined as a boy in my old history books then getting to see them, getting to touch them, getting to experience them up close and personal. Be it the Nazca Lines in Peru or the Taj Mahal in India I have seen and been to some beautiful places.
