About Me

Nearly 30 passionate snowboarder. I come from the land of Wales, a beautiful Celtic country in the British isles. I spend my summers working and saving so I am able to frolic in the snow in the winter. I have a plant based diet, but that doesn't make me an odd ball. Music is a huge part of my life and I spend most hours of the day listening.

My current expedition is to travel from Denver to San Francisco, visiting various resorts along the way. My travel buddy has had his visa denied, so I am now flying solo.

Interests

I am happiest in the mountains. Wether it be hiking, walking, snowboarding, the solitude and vastness creates an enormous sense of well being, making me feel insignificant, but also part of something incomprehensible. The ocean also conjures similar emotions, it's brutal power drawing respect and admiration. So i find myself drawn to these locations, trading my time for its wonder. I have snowboarded for 7 years, and am truly hooked. I've done ski seasons in Austria, Japan and New Zealand, Japan being the ultimate. Hiking is something I have dabbled in for a long time, but never took it too seriously, till I spent time in New Zealand, where I started completing several overnight hikes. Surfing and skateboarding are a couple of years old for me, and I still haven't dedicated enough time to these wonderful sports, I aim for more. Lastly, climbing is the most infant, yet something I see me dedicating more time. All of these activities require funding, and since snowboarding dominates my passion, it devours it's allocation and more.
Travelling is vital for growth, to understand the differences inherent in us. I have travelled lots of Europe, then been to New Zealand, Australia and Japan. The wish list is almost endless, luckily I am still young.
