ABOUT ME

adventurous, outdoorsy, outgoing, friendly, love music and a fun time. I love exploring, getting lost, and trying new things. I really enjoy doing anything outdoors, and going remote places. I love animals but don't have any of my own. I really really enjoy motorcycling and overland travelling in general (used to have a jeep that made a lot of miles with me). I'm open to doing anything, and enjoy seeing new places with a local and learning their thoughts and opinions on the places I'm visiting. I love being taught something new.

I've never had a bad experience surfing. And with the help of many great hosts, I've turned a lot of poor/average/okay days into amazing, unforgettable days. I've surfed with people from all walks of life, and have found that no matter who you are, we'll have something on common and something to offer each other.

Been couch surfing more and more over the past few years. Met some amazing people and have had nothing but positive experiences!

Interests

Motorcycling, mountain biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, music, pubs, longboarding, coffee, getting lost, local beer, and of course travelling. I absolutely love road trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - anything by Gary Paulsen never gets old
Music - almost anything. Tastes have changed a lot over the years.
TV - don't really watch tv, watch the occasional documentary or movie

Ran with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. 2014
Rode my motorcycle to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and back in Spring/Summer 2013..
Didn't have a map or GPS so I rode West till I hit the coast, then turned South till I hit the end of the road in Baja Mexico. 2013
Visited Cali/Baja Mexico numerous times 2013/14/15/17
Spain (running of the bulls), Greece(yachtweek), Belgium (tomorrowland), Croatia, France, Netherlands, Switzerland 2014
Rode my motorcycle 40,000KM from Canada to Argentina through 15 countries 2017/2018
Have snowboarded all over the Rockies
Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria road trip - Jan 2018
Quintana Roo / Yucatan Mexico - April 2018
Competed in RimbaRaid offroad adventure motorcycle rally in May Daling Malaysia - June 2018

I'd like to give to others as much as I can! Through my travels and (very occasional - few people travel to Lloyd / Saskatoon) hosting I've met so many wonderful, caring, hospital, and helpful people. I'd love to give back in any way I can.. whether I'm hosting or surfing.
