ABOUT ME

Alana and I met through an internship program at the California State Capitol over 4 years ago. From the time we first started dating we've never stopped seeking adventures - like completing a 12 mile adventure race at squaw valley; traveling - domestically and abroad; and laughing - we love each other's company and humor. We've already been through a lot - buying and renovating a house, completing masters degrees together, and supporting each other through unhappy jobs. We got engaged last July, 4th of July weekend at a remote mountain lake.
We getting married in September, and then packing our house in California (Sacramento) and hopping a plane to Amsterdam, via a 48 hour layover in Iceland. After that, we're going to attempt to make it to Thailand over land! Starting in Amsterdam and then around the Mediterranean, then through the Balkans. How we traverse Russia may depend on how well we're tolerating December in Russia, but the plan is to take trains across Russia to China, travel down the coast of China and then inland to Vietnam and Laos, ending with a riverboat into Thailand. We both just finished our Masters degrees in Public Administration and are moving to Thailand to start a non-profit.
