About Me
I believe in the power of metaphors. That said, ponder this one:
A rich man doesn't have to tell you he's rich.
And in case you don't understand this metaphor, please understand I am not talking about money.
I heard once, before every conversation you have with every stranger you come across, say in your mind to that person "I love you" and notice how your interaction goes with that person.
Like Aristotle, I believe that we are what we repeatedly do. Therefore, I must be a nerd if I'm comparing myself to Aristotle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the Spring/Summer of 2013 I was living in Rio de Janeiro and planning to go back home to Los Angeles. Unsure of how I would be able to afford such an adventure, I called upon the good people of Couchsurfing.
I hosted some nice people at my apartment in Rio de Janeiro and then stood with some nice people in different parts of South America.
The CouchSurfer's Spirit and the Adventurer's Spirit are one in the same. The only difference is the Social Network that enables one to actually do what he wants.
Interests
In no particular order I like to write, read, history documentaries, podcasts, cook, go to the gym, dance salsa, play with turntables, and study Japanese. I like being outdoors too. I like to think that I'm childish in the way I appreciate things.
