ABOUT ME

Love life. If there is something new and interesting, I'm all for it. Laughs are my life. Feel free to ask if you want to know more about me. I am secretive some of the time, but if you ask I'll more than likely tell you. Honesty is important. If you really want to get to know me, then meet up with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Movement is key to my mental, emotional, and physical health, this is why dance and rope dart are essential in my life. Although I am now non-religious, there are many other things that to me offer the same good feeling that God gives other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to have people over to surf on my couch. I would like to host people for dinner or maybe go out to a local restaurant. Either way, there will be good conversation, music, laughs and adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed one couch so far and hoping for more experience. I would love to surf more and host when I get back to my home country.

Interests

Painting and drawing are huge in my life, along with compiling found sounds and making ambient tracks with the sounds in nature, around the city, experiments, etc.

I believe in scribbling!!! Some of my scribbles I have then turned into better, more concise drawings or paintings.

I am a handyman, making anything is a hobby of mine. Usually if I need something, I will attempt to make it or find a solution first rather than going out to purchase it.

I love to write and explore creative alternatives within writing. Writing sometimes gets transposed over into my painting or drawing.

I fire dance with a rope dart (if you're not sure what that is, I can send video, Quite wonderful).

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
I am a huge music nut. Recent music that I have been into- Mugison, Of Monsters and Men
Ambient music with electronic influences-
(Moby's Ambient album) Aphex Twin will always be a favorite of mine, Múm, A Sunny Day in Glasgow.

Dance music(what I like to dance to)- Hot Chip, Policia, Grimes, sometimes a dub-step track or a funny pop track.

MOVIES:

I enjoy movies but there is too much time that is dedicated to staring at a screen. I figure a little computer time during the day is enough. I feel there is so much more to experience in the real world. I love a good movie or television program that is educational or thought provoking.

Yes, I read, I am just ever so slow at reading that it takes me ages to get through a novel. I am most interested in sci-fi and mystery novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canyon. Don't fall off!!! The desert is quite amazing for how barren it is. The reds and browns of the sands are just captivating. I lived in Alnwick, Northumberland in the Alnwick Castle that was used in the filming of some scenes of Harry Potter.

Learn:
I would like to learn more history about other countries and how they are run and operated. (which is some of the basis of CS -international connection) Being from the US other countries aren't really talked about. It seems as though the US world view doesn't extend much beyond US boarders. Sad really.
