About Me

i have been blessed to have loved, to love and to have known and to know some of the most wonderful people in the world. 7 billion people on this planet and I am constantly reminded of how versatile and beautiful many can be and in the most unique ways. I love meeting new people and Couchsurfing has been that integral tool. Two of my best friends I have met through Couchsurfing and countless others. I enjoy all things outside, many a things inside, new things, and good old reliables... I do not care for many "hip" or "In" things, but I will go and dance my heart out once in a while and you will always catching me drinking a good beer or a good wine ( relative there, as I will drink from a box or from a $60 bottle). Once in a blue moon I like to smoke a cigar and play cards.

CURRENT MISSION

To live with no regret. Further my career and become debt free.

ABOUT ME

I am a very honest, hard working, fun loving, and energetic person. I enjoy simple pleasures, culture and all kinds of music. Along the way I hope to meet people that I may learn from and to offer any help.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. I expect more from myself than others. It is usually the most difficult to do what is right, but it is always the right time to do it. I am following my internal compass towards self awareness. I feel that I must conquer my inner self before being able to lead a fulfilled and productive life. I welcome all connections and value friendship greatly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely love hosting and I have group Couchsurfed. I suggest Couchsurfing to everyone I know travels and even to those that haven't gotten to it. It is not about free accommodations, it is about having an opportunity to maximize your travel experience by diving into the culture first hand and making new and potentially life long friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2010: I traveled to Ghana, to volunteer as a wildlife conversationalist and I volunteered at a medical clinic. This was the greatest experience of my life, especially since I embarked on this adventure solo. I spent the first month at Kakum National Park and stayed with a host family. I then met a group of volunteers, whom I ended up spending another month with in another region.

2014: I had been on the most unorthodox travel plan/ relationship I had ever heard. As long as my visitor's visa for the EU allowed me to stay, I did, in Germany. I lived with my boyfriend. We traveled, enjoyed the simple life in our little rural hamlet and we met new people. When my visitor's visa expired it was back to Greenville SC where my beautiful Greenvillian friends awaited me. My balancing act between both worlds did not pan out, unfortunately, so I am here...

2016: Embarking on yet another adventure into the semi known/ unknown. Building a business with two of my dear friends, rebuilding my independence.

2018: Moved to Rochester for my career. Cannot wait for spring and summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a good listener, I am always willing to help in anyway possible, I am always singing (and not too shabby at it), and I make an over all good companion. I love to work and get my hands dirty especially outside, likewise, I like getting dolled up and enjoying the fruits of society.

I hope to be able to learn as much wisdom from all of the people that I encounter and I am open to learn any trade. Martial Arts, especially self discipline, are the things I hope to expand on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a clean and respectful guest. I love to swap stories and love to indulge in different cultures.
