ABOUT ME

We're Mark and Sarah. We are both Canadians currently living in the U.S. and working as nurses in Tacoma, WA. Mark is also a musician in an indie-folk duo with Gina Belliveau (listen here) and a rock band called "The Reaching" (listen here).

We work days mostly. Nights and weekends are often free. If Mark has a concert while you're here, come along for some Washington live music.

PHILOSOPHY

We love exploring, learning, and meeting people from around the world. The opportunity for cultural exchange makes everything else worthwhile.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to host and couch surf as much as possible and also meet other surfers in our own community. Every experience is an opportunity to meet people and to experience things we couldn't from a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted many times and have surfed couches in Munich, Innsbruck, Salzburg, and Vienna (and friend's couches in the U.S.). Every experience has been positive and we have made many new friends.
