About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I love New Orleans and I'm happy to help a world traveler with a place to stay and some advice about the city and how to get around. I live uptown just a few blocks from the street car or bus. Hit me up to talk about a potential stay in the Big Easy!

ABOUT ME

I live in Uptown New Orleans but I experience the city from the River Bend to the Bywater -wich includes the Garden District, Lower Garden, Warehouse District, Central Business District, French Quarter and the Marigny. I know enough about these areas to help you find your way and share a beer if time allows. My work as a therapist with adolescents gives me great satisfaction, as much as the many festivals and costumes at nights and on weekends. This city loves to celebrate music food and drink, and so do I!

PHILOSOPHY

I love saying I'm simple and finding out I'm complex, definitely flexible, and mostly interested in being able to have a good safe space for somone who is getting out and about on their own while passing through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to offer comfort and advice, but haven't couch surfed for myself before. I've had a rather transient set of experiences i'm quite proud to say. i'm pretty good with being flexible and certainly hospitable. I like good stories and a clean guest is about all that's really needed to get my key :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just recently started hosting surfers -how cool! I love this city and hope to show it through my eyes as I can.

Interests

Friends, food, music, drink, parades, costumes, beads, motorcycle rides, bike rides, parks, working out and most certainly having a a lot of laughter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking in Second Lines! (Parades) I've lived in New England in the US,and NYC, also Lima, Peru -among other places. I find people met while traveling have been some of the kindest and most endearing, energizing. I hope to give back some of that through hosting.
