ABOUT ME

I'm an Engineer and grew up in Canada, I love the wilderness, camping, cycling and hiking.
I love canoeing and backpacking and have been to many of the Canadian national and provincial parks.
I want to visit most of western Europe such as Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. My main goal of this trip is to make friends.. honestly! I want to be immersed in other cultures so some day I can immerse others in my Canadian culture in reciprocity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will host when I go back to school but can't now that i'm travelling Europe for 6 months until December 2011.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have gone to couchsurfing parties, I have been hosted while travelling Europe and it has always been an amazingly positive ordeal.I once went to a very warm couchsurfing party hosted in a chateau in the south of France.I also have rode around the countryside of Provence in a convertable with another unforgetable couchsurfing friend!

I'm currently reading Prey by Michael Chricton but good books seem to elude me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the running of the bulls
I lost 100lbs
Hiked the west coast trail on Vancouver island, Canada
Can canoe like a champ!

I can teach you all about Canada, from southern, northern, eastern or western Canada I've been basically everywhere there.
I'm a high tech nano-engineer and therefore can converse scientifically or in the art of Beer.
