About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I published my first novel, called Artless, about a group of young artistic people who struggle to open their own art gallery. (More info here: http://tinyurl.com/ovtyx85). Now I'm traveling around and talking to different bookstores about carrying the novel. Just trying to get it out there as far and wide as possible. I'm also writing a second novel about this road trip.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the Midwest in a tiny little farm community, population ~100. After college I started traveling all over the country, and a little in the world. I have lived in a few different places in the US, the longest one being Portland, Oregon, which remains one of my favorite places in America. I've been working in journalism and freelance writing for many years, and now I'm making a go of my first novel. I've also worked as a carpenter in between, and love designing and building things, especially furniture. I'm also involved in building art installations for different film and music festivals in Missouri, which is a fun and creative outlet for building. I love traveling and meeting new people and hearing about others passions and experiences. I like to learn everything I can from others.
