ABOUT ME

Mark: I love traveling and meeting new people. I am very accommodative and content, so traveling is fun and easy! I am not super outgoing, but I do love talking, but mostly listening. I am from a family of 9, so that has helped me learn to share and enjoy company.

Lauren: I also love traveling and meeting new people! While I am an introvert, I find meaningful conversation with new friends a fulfilling experience.

PHILOSOPHY

We are meant to live in community. Whether that is in our city or by traveling. I love learning from other peoples experiences. Everybody sees the world differently and so we see CS as a great way to get to know people from all over.

We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our adventures with others, as well as, learning about their adventures and stories.

We have hosted people in our home and traveled with friends and alone to other peoples homes.

I love traveling, it has just become so accessible, and I am very appreciative of that. I do love playing soccer, and cooking, reading, and learning all about the newest technologies that are coming out.

Lauren:

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Mark: It is one idea, but consists of multiple places: Being able to travel to multiple countries on multiple continents and seeing the difference between cultures and learning about each culture and becoming more aware of how I respond to different cultures and learning from that; then bringing that knowledge back home and sharing it with the people around me. We are different cultures, but we are one people.

From my personal philosophy, I have learned through my travels, that it is more fun to travel with other people, or to be around other people. That life is short, so why not take a leap and explore the world while you can.
