ABOUT ME

i jsut realized i haven't edited this in a long time. i live in a pretty shitty little basement apartment in toronto right now, there's one loveseat and some shag carpet to sleep on - but no luxury here. I work a lot, early mornings, so i need to sleep, but anyone is welcome to stay here. I probably won't be around too much and won't be partying too harrd on the weekdays.

old profile continues:
i try to be as thrifty as possible. making music is unavoidable and most enjoyable. building/woodwork, and fixing everything that can be fixed. i'd like to buy and waste as few things as possible during my life. i also love maps, city planning/layouts and public transit. and cycling long distance on shitty fixed up bikes, though i'd like to get a nice one someday.

PHILOSOPHY

jack of all trades instead of specialist. not always working so well...

Music, Movies, and Books

some music would be leonard cohen, fugazi, polvo, pixies, the clash, velvet underground, sonic youth, krs-one, rancid, smiths, ukrainian folk songs and budos band. dixieland at the right time too. Local music is consuming me more and more now.
My book forever recommended is Danny the Champion of the World. Selected Stories by Anton Chekhov is fine as well. The Road and Kite Runner as well. Edit: Now, all must read Shantaram
