About Me

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, compassionate person who tries to be very socially conscious. I love and respect folks from all walks of life and am always looking to learn from others. I would rather sit and listen than be the center of attention. I love playing music and singing, especially with other people.

PHILOSOPHY

Share your resources, be kind to people and try to understand where they're coming from and why they are who they are, recognize your privilege.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I just personally signed up for an account, the (ware)house I live in has hosted numerous couchsurfers over the past few years, many from abroad as well as from other cities in the U.S.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mostly couchsurfed with people I already knew, but I am very interested in meeting new folks. In 2010 I spent a week in Berlin couchsurfing at a former squat with a friend of a friend and met a lot of great people during my stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2007, I had the opportunity to travel to Colombia for a month with a friend of mine who had friends from there. We did a little traveling while we were there but mostly got to live/experience the city of Medellin for a month. It was a really memorable and eye opening experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fluent in Spanish and love speaking the language. I am always interested in having a conversation in or about Spanish. I would be glad to teach you a word or two.
