About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Music, Challenging myself, Getting outside my box.

ABOUT ME

I think you could call me a social introvert. I try to engage people, get to know them, and let them get to know me. Listening and relating to people is very important to me, and when it's my turn, I really hope to respect your attention with honesty, though I might be inclined to hold back a little when I think the reaction may be negative. I try to maintain an inherent respect for people, those who I know and those who I don't, and it's very rare that someone makes me want to withhold that from them.
I'm really good at rolling with others' plans. I don't USUALLY instigate the group activities, but if I'm really excited about something, I'll definitely try to get others interested, but won't try to force anything. Actually, because of this, I'd always be very interested in whatever a host suggests for me/us to do in an area where I don't already have specific ideas (which could end up being often). For better or worse, I like when everyone's happy, so long as it's practical in whatever given situation.
I love coffee, I drink it everyday, and a little bit of personal time with a journal or whatever goes a long way for me feeling recharged.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't personally yet! Will update when this changes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a LOT of CouchSurfers. Close friends of mine in and around Nashville do a lot of hosting, and I've hung out with a lot of cool folks because of them. One CouchSurfer ended up moving here, and he's a legit dude and a friend of mine now.

Interests

My primary interest is music, whether it's listening, playing, writing, arranging, or production. I try to spend as much time as possible outside of work and my social life learning about music and developing my skill set. I hope to be professionally involved one day, and all I do with music is both for enjoyment and working toward that goal. Other than that, I love food, cooking, movies, documentaries, camping, seeing new things, etc. I'd say traveling is a huge interest and pleasure for me, but I don't do it nearly as often as I'd like. I hope my registration on CS is a step in the direction of fixing that.
Love having a beer too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't like that this question makes me draw a blank, so even though there have been many things that aren't coming to mind, my short answer is "not enough."
