About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Uhm, bringing clarity, direction and empathy to myself and others.... Oh, and diving and meet spiritually oriented people in the meantime!

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in southern London during the 70s and 80s, and in 1985 we relocated to Denmark. This has given me a strong sense of 3rd culture, as in I am a mixture of my father's Englishness and my mothers Danish ways.

I love exploring, and can also be a quiet recluse. I once, then and still correctly, describe my self as a "contact seeking loner". I revel in meeting new people and seeing new things, but also enjoy hiding in a quiet space within myself, and just watching what goes on.

I meditate quite a bit, alone and with clients in group settings, and am very much into psychotherapy training and the world of psychosynthesis.

I'd love to find the time to read a on psychotherapeutic book every now and then, but the MA I am on here in London absolutely takes all my time. It's an interesting and deeping process, one that will show me the ever evolving depths of me, and of those I meet on this journey called Life!

I am vegan, non smoking, and rarely a drinker, but I must say that a good beer, a very good wine or whiskey is hard to say no to...

PHILOSOPHY

I think I have covered that earlier, sharing is good philosophy, and the one of abundance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by sharing. Throughtout my travels I have seen the abundance of the world, and the generousity of those in it - of course, I have also witnessed poverty and greed, both often very close to each other.

In my heart, I feel a great, well, release and sense of fulfillment when I give something back - be it to a fellow human, an animal or a plant. Even "just" looking into the sky and loving the moon/sun hanging overhead.

So, I wish to participate by opening my resources to others, and bit by bit expanding the awareness that, indeed, there is more here than we'll ever need, and so much to learn from.. Hope this all makes sense!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new to the CouchSurfing world, but I am looking forward to giving visitors to Copenhagen a friendly start, as well as meeting new people on a travel by travel basis! :o)

Interests

Psychotherapy, travelling, photography (been in that business for about 6 years), reflecting, meditation, listening and learning, music, concerts.... cooking (I do two or three dishes very well!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of movies, photographs, books.... Uhm, as long as there's a soul behind it, like readily apparent and bare. Although I find Britney well produced and approachable, I thirst for the depth of Pink Floyd and the sound of Erykah Badu, or the crunch of Nine Inch Nails

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of personal stories here :o)

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach meditation, and would love to offer a meditation class to you and/or a couple of friends as a way of expressing my gratitude...

I would love to share some of the insights from psychosynthesis and hear travel stories and yarns from your life!
