I am currently exploring South East Asia. My next stop is Chiang Mai from February 12th to March 6th where I plan to train Muay Thai boxing and spend time practicing meditation.

Before traveling, my profession was a body structures design engineer for General Motors for 6 years after studying at Michigan State University. Although I liked my job, I quit in April of 2019 with plans of traveling the world for 1 year. It has now been 10 months, and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. I have learned a lot about myself and how I want to live my life from here on out. I am known to be a very nice, respectful, considerate, loyal, helpful, thrifty, kind person. I am more introverted, but I enjoy meeting people and social situations. I am a logical thinker and a very focused person when it comes to achieving my goals.

I had great experiences couchsurfing in France, Austria, and Switzerland when I traveled Europe in 2010.

I have been traveling South East Asia since November 2019, and now I would like to enrich my travel experience by staying with hosts that I can become friends with and by truly experiencing the local culture.

I would like to learn to speak the Spanish language better (I am currently intermediate in conversation), and more about photography. I would also like to learn more about history and geography, although I used to have no interests in these topics before traveling, so I have a lot of catching up to do!
