Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really enjoy meeting fellow CS'ers and finding out a bit about what they do and what makes them tick. So far I've surfed couches, had surfers round mine, and gotten together for meets to have a catch up.
Ive been proud to show a number of CS'ers around my home region of Swansea and the beautiful Gower peninsula. Its been so much fun to meet new people and show them around an area im familiar with, as I always enjoy seeing old things with new eyes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well I'm relatively new to CS, but every experience ive had so far has been a positive one im happy to admit!
Interests
I have a particular fondness for anything to do with the natural world or life sciences!
- chinese new year
- hiking
- road trips
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a great fan of movies, I love how imaginative people can be and how we can now bring our wildest dreams to life! I'm equally entertained by cinema blockbusters or the cheesiest of B-movies.
I have a particular love of Anime too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding a camel over the Sahara desert and watching the sun set
I really enjoyed hiking in the Brecon Beacons with a big group of CS'ers, where we walked everywhere, from marshes to woodland to the top of one of the highest mountain peaks. And in only one day! Which was incredible despite the poor weather we had. The company was great too :) and I wouldnt have gotten there if it werent for some awesome local CS'ers to catch a ride with
Celebrating Chinese New Year in Trafalgar Square was amazing too. I met loads of great people there and had just as much fun chatting as I did watching the very colourful performances. The evening fireworks were not to be missed either

Scary to think that none of us are as 'Organic' or natural as we might like to think.
